The Learning Centers in Piketon, Caldwell, and Franklin County are located in areas where a broader scope of Ohio State’s outreach and engagement can be provided.
Distance learning facilities allow for interactive learning with faculty on any Ohio State campus to meet the needs of prospective students, current students, communities involved with collaborative research, or alumni.

 

• Video Conferencing Equipment:

Each of the Learning Centers is equipped with interactive voice/video technology.
Live, high quality, no lagtime, two-way video and vocal interchanges are standard with this equipment.
 
• Computer Labs:

The Learning Centers offer a variety of computer classes in computer labs.
Each computer lab is equipped with 10 high speed Internet accessible computers, a data processor, overhead projector, whiteboards, multi-scanners, and various software packages. There will be regularly scheduled open times when computers will be available for students and for research purposes.
 
• Other Available Technology:

The Learning Centers also have additional educational technology such as slide projectors with cordless ability, video projection capability, two styles of satellite technology, an audio system, and other meeting areas that can be equipped with customized technology.
